Clor

Clor was a short five-piece band from Brixton, England, founded by Barry Dobbin and Luke Smith in 2003, who signed the label Parlophone after only six concerts. The group released an eponymous debut album in 2005 by critics celebrated. The album was placed on the list of "greatest albums you've ever heard" by NME in 2010.

History

The creation of Clor was a nightclub with the title "Bad Bunny" of Dobbin and Smith, that wanted to integrate the music in their own DJ sets. They started recording at Smith's apartment and then invited the nightclub guests into their lap, stretching into a five-room apartment. Dobbin cam with the name of Clor "... crude, primitive and futuristic at the same time". Demos Welcome Music Lovers was recorded in 2004 INITIALLY with the idea of ??being sent to other clubs for bookshow. However, Mundpropaganda saw the offer of a record contract with the Parlophone label after only six concerts. The Welcome Music Lovers EP was released in 2004 with Singles Love + Pain and was in 2005 the first Outlines album Clor to the front. In May of 2006 the band announced that they had to share. His manager said Dobbin and Smith's future paths are unclear, but would likely involve musical activities. Smith has produced since the album Shitdisco, Kingdom of Fear, the Foal Total Life Forever album, as well as two albums by Fryars Singer-Songwriter. Dobbin additional form and before the new group called Barringtone.
